What is a Doula and Why Hire One?
A doula is a trained support specialist who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support before, during, and after childbirth. Doula-supported deliveries have been linked to shorter labor, fewer medical interventions, and improved emotional well-being.

About Me
Hello, I'm Christine, a certified doula passionate about supporting families through their birthing journey. I absolutely love being a grandmother to my 19 wonderful grandchildren! When I'm not spending time with them, I enjoy exploring new adventures and opportunities. As a Christian, my faith deeply influences my life, and I'm blessed to share that with my multicultural, bilingual (English-Spanish) family. My husband and I recently took on an exciting project: renovating an 80-year-old house on 3 acres, which has sparked my interest in homesteading.
I'm also passionate about trying out new clean recipes, especially when cooking for a crowd, and I love going on long walks with my sweet Goldendoodle, Rosie. Traveling is another joy in my life, whether it's a new destination or a familiar favorite spot. There's always something exciting on the horizon, and I can't wait for what comes next!
Birth Doula Services
Comprehensive physical, emotional, and educational support throughout your birthing journey.

Physical Support
As your birth doula, I'll provide hands-on comfort measures tailored to your needs. This may include position changes, counter pressure, massage, and other techniques to ease discomfort. I'll also help create a calm, soothing birth environment—adjusting lighting, temperature, music, and aromatherapy to promote relaxation and support the natural flow of labor.
Emotional and Mental Support
Birth is as much a mental and emotional experience as it is physical. I'll help you stay grounded and focused throughout labor. In our prenatal visits, we'll explore any fears or concerns you may have and work through ways to release them. We'll also talk about how past experiences may shape this birth and how to approach them with intention and awareness.
Educational Support
If you don't know your options, you don't have any. There is no single "right" way to give birth—every path is unique. I'll support you in creating a personalized birth plan (or "Birth Preferences" document) and walk you through common interventions in pregnancy and labor. Together, we'll explore the risks and benefits of each, so you can make truly informed decisions that align with your values and goals.

Newborn Care Support
Expert guidance in newborn care, including feeding support, sleep routines, and developmental milestones. I'll help you build confidence in caring for your new baby while ensuring their needs are met.
Household Assistance
Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and organization help to create a peaceful environment for your family. I'll take care of the practical tasks so you can focus on bonding with your baby.
Customizable Options
Every family's needs are unique. I offer flexible scheduling and customizable support packages to ensure you receive exactly the help you need during this special time.
Childbirth Education
Preparing for birth begins long before labor starts. A childbirth education class can help lay a strong foundation for a healthy pregnancy, confident birth, and smooth transition into parenthood.
Build a Healthy Foundation
We'll explore how nutrition, exercise, and relaxation techniques support your well-being during pregnancy and prepare your body for labor. Learning in a group setting alongside your partner—and other couples—helps build accountability and encouragement for staying consistent with your healthy habits.
Empower Your Birth Partner
Your birth partner plays a vital role in your labor experience. In class, they'll learn how to offer meaningful support, practical coaching, and confident presence throughout the birth process. You'll both feel more prepared and connected as a team.
Cut Through the Confusion
There's no shortage of information out there—but not all of it applies to your situation. This course will help you understand your options, clear away the myths, and focus on what's most relevant to you and your birth preferences.
Find Your Tribe
You don't have to do this alone. Classes provide the opportunity to connect with other like-minded families walking the same path. These connections often become a cherished part of the journey.
